Greystone Energy’s SPC series is a temperature and humidity transmitter that utilizes a pair of sensors in one sleek wall mount enclosure.  For an environmental monitoring and control system the transmitter’s RH sensor monitors RH over a span of 0-100% and enlists a thermistor that is curve-matched to measure temperature.

Separate setpoint controls are options for temperature and relative humidity adjustment. Also optional are external communications jack and override switch which includes OCC input. Both temp and RH setpoint constant signals are available on individual outputs (0-5, 0-10 Vdc jumper selectable, or linear 4-20 mA.  The SPC Series boasts a low profile, LCD indication and is offered in voltage and current models.  Accuracy selections are 2, 3 and 5%. Alternate configurations of Greystone’s SPC series are available with 1-4 outputs.

Greystone’s TE200B Series Replaced By TSAP Series

 

Several lines of Greystone Energy’s temperature products have been redesigned and released throughout the past year with new enclosures and new features.  These changes have prompted new model numbering across their catalog.  The popular TE200B Series of duct mounted temperature sensors previously employed a round ABS enclosure which has been updated with the hinged box-type enclosure, or TSAP Series.

The TSAP Series All Purpose Duct/Immsersion Temperature Sensor 

The TSAP all-purpose, single point temperature sensor is encapsulated in a 6 mm, 304 series stainless steel probe.  They are offered in lengths of 4, 6, 8, 12 and 18”.  These probes offer impressive heat transfer, quick response and resist moisture penetration.  The compact ABS enclosure with a hinged and gasketed cover is provided for ease of installation. 

For Duct applications:  Probes are installed in side of duct for single point temperature monitoring with the duct.  Note: Probe length needs to span the duct width. Install in straight section of duct with acceptable distance from any humidification, cooling or heating devices.

For Immersion applications: Probe needs installation in proper length thermowell determined by pipe size. For more information on use of conductive compound for thermal transfer, and types of thermowells needs per application, please refer to the installation instructions for the TSAP Series.
