Greystone Energy released the C2DOS Series in 2022, replacing their CDD4 series of room CO2 transmitters with optional temperature sensing. This device employs an accurate “non-dispersive infrared” or NDIR sensor within a vented, weatherproof enclosure which monitors outside levels of Carbon Dioxide. Using dual-wavelength optics and LTA (long-term adjustment) signal processing, this technology provides both reliability and long-term accuracy.

Having infrared technology to monitor CO2, the transmitter operates
with a linear 4-20 mA or 0-5/10 Vdc signal for outputs which are field selectable. The unit enlists a programmable CO2
measurement span, and the display features a back-lit alphanumeric LCD that
includes user-friendly menu for quick set up. Greystone produces the C2DOS with optional
features, including resistive temperature sensors (NTC, Type 2 and 3, 100 Ohm
Platinum, and 1000 Ohm Nickel to name a few), a control relay option with programmable
setpoint, hysteresis and time delay, and a heated or unheated enclosure.
The outside carbon dioxide transmitters are 5.3” wide by 7.2” tall, and 3.5” deep. This series includes .85” knockouts for conduit connections and can be mounted directly to building wall face using provided mounting holes. It connects to a Building Automation System using the 3 wire configuration with screw block terminal provided.
